Shipping Trainee

Clipper offers a broad shipping education where responsibility and challenges are a part of your everyday work life. On 1 August 2010 you can become a part of our two-year shipping trainee programme.

The programme combines on the job training with a theoretical education consisting of:

The first two years of a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD 1. del) at Copenhagen Business School
Five weeks of shipping theory at Esbjerg Handelsskole
After the traineeship and when you have build experience we will provide you with the opportunity to be posted in one of our offices abroad.

To become part of our shipping trainee programme you must:
have passed an Upper Secondary School Leaving Examination (STX) probably combined with the 'HHX-fagpakke' diploma, HHX or a similar education
have completed mathematics, level B at a minimum 
possess good Danish skills as classes at CBS and Esbjerg Handelsskole are conducted in Danish
possess good English skills
